The Telugu Desam Party marked its 44th foundation day with grand celebrations at its Mangalagiri office, where top leaders including Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and party national general secretary Nara Lokesh took part in the event.
Addressing party workers, Nara Lokesh said that creating and rewriting records in Indian politics has always been possible only with the TDP. He described the party as a regional force that has left a lasting impact on the country’s political landscape.
The celebrations began with leaders hoisting the party flag and paying tribute to NTR, the founder of the party. Calling the occasion a festival for every party member, leaders extended their greetings to workers across all levels.
Lokesh emphasized that the strength of the party lies in its grassroots workers, stating that those who carry the party flag are the true leaders. He assured that the party remains committed to recognizing and promoting those who have worked from village level to top leadership roles.
Highlighting the party’s efforts, Lokesh said TDP has spent significant resources on the welfare of its workers. He credited NTR’s governance model for shaping the direction of the state and praised Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, noting his continued energy and commitment.
He also pointed out TDP’s role in national politics, mentioning contributions such as supporting key leadership positions and reforms. Lokesh urged party workers to stay connected with the people, understand their problems and focus on solutions rather than arrogance in politics.
The event reflected both celebration and renewed motivation, as party leaders called on cadres to continue working towards strengthening the party and serving the public effectively.
