Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed deep shock over the tragic bus accident near Markapuram that resulted in multiple deaths and injuries, calling for immediate action from officials.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday near Rayavaram in Andhra Pradesh, where a private travels bus collided with a tipper near a quarry. The impact caused a massive fire, leaving the bus completely gutted and creating a horrifying scene.

According to initial reports, at least 13 passengers lost their lives after being trapped in the burning vehicle. Several others suffered serious injuries, while around 10 passengers managed to escape the accident.

The bus was reportedly traveling from Nirmal towards Pamuru when the incident took place. Rescue teams, including police and fire personnel, rushed to the spot and carried out relief operations. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Reacting to the incident, the Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for those injured. He described the incident as deeply distressing and unfortunate.

The Chief Minister has directed the state Chief Secretary to gather complete details about the victims and coordinate with Andhra Pradesh authorities. He also instructed officials to ensure that the injured receive proper medical care without delay.

Officials confirmed that some of the victims belong to Telangana, adding to the concern of the state government. The administration is closely monitoring the situation and extending necessary support to affected families.
