What was meant to be a joyful wedding celebration turned into a heartbreaking tragedy in Vizianagaram district when a software engineer lost his life due to electrocution on the day of his brother wedding.
The incident took place in Mirtivalasa village of Santakaviti mandal, where Satish aged 32 had arrived to take part in the family function. According to reports, he went to the terrace to dry clothes when he accidentally came into contact with electric wires that had been set up for wedding decorations.
Family members who noticed him lying unconscious immediately rushed him to a private hospital in Srikakulam. However, doctors declared that he had already passed away before arrival.
Satish had been working as a software engineer in Hyderabad and had been married only a year ago. His sudden death has left his family devastated, especially as it occurred during what should have been a moment of happiness.
