The annual Brahmotsavam celebrations at Tirupati began with traditional rituals, spiritual events, and devotional activities attracting devotees and creating a vibrant atmosphere around the temple.

The annual Brahmotsavam celebrations at the famous Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati began on a grand note with traditional rituals and devotional activities. The temple premises witnessed a spiritually charged atmosphere as devotees gathered to participate in the sacred event.

The celebrations officially commenced with the Dhwajarohanam ceremony performed during an auspicious period. Amid Vedic chants, devotional songs, and traditional musical performances, the ceremonial flag bearing the image of Garuda was hoisted, marking the beginning of the festival.

Before the flag hoisting ritual, the deity along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi was taken on a ceremonial procession through the four Mada streets, offering devotees an opportunity to receive divine blessings and participate in the festivities.

Several religious rituals including Vishwaksena worship, Vastu Homam, Garuda Lingam Homam, and Raksha Bandhanam were also conducted as part of the traditional schedule. Priests performed the ceremonies according to temple customs and spiritual practices.

Temple authorities stated that special events will continue throughout the celebrations. Sacred rituals, devotional music programs, and cultural activities are being planned every day to enrich the spiritual experience for visitors.

The temple surroundings have also been decorated with floral arrangements, lighting displays, and special structures to create a festive atmosphere for the thousands of devotees expected to visit during the celebrations.
