Anakapalli: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday blessed Kothapalli Geetha, former MP and present candidate for the Araku parliamentary constituency from BJP. Geetha is being supported by the alliance parties TDP and Jana Sena.

Modi participated in a public meeting in support of Geetha at Anakapalli in Andhra Pradesh. Showering praises on Geetha’s leadership, Modi said Araku will see rapid development if she is elected as MP this time.

Former chief minister and TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, who also participated in the public meeting, lauded Kothapalli Geetha for her services not only as an MP, but also in social service.

With the Prime Minister campaigning for Geetha, her election campaign rose to a higher level and her prospects got brighter. People perceived Modi’s special interest in Geetha’s victory as a great advantage for the Araku constituency which is backward on various fronts.

Chandrababu also said that if Geetha is elected as MP this time, the Araku parliamentary constituency area will develop beyond expectations.
