The state government is preparing to strengthen efforts against drug related issues with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directing officials to establish dedicated de addiction centers for people affected by substance abuse. The move is expected to focus on rehabilitation and support for individuals struggling with addiction.

During a review meeting with senior police officials, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for stronger systems that address emerging challenges in law enforcement and public safety. Officials discussed a range of issues including cybercrime prevention and strengthening infrastructure across departments.

Authorities were instructed to prepare a comprehensive strategy for tackling cybercrime and expanding the number of forensic and data centers. The Chief Minister also suggested identifying personnel for cyber related responsibilities during training stages itself to improve specialized capabilities within departments.

The review also highlighted the need for increased use of technology in vigilance operations. Officials were asked to study ways of strengthening the vigilance department and enhancing its capabilities in dealing with activities that affect government revenue.

Public safety measures formed another key part of the discussions. Instructions were issued to improve fire prevention systems and ensure coordination among departments for better emergency response and infrastructure management.

Officials were also asked to strengthen night patrol activities and ensure better regulation of public display materials in urban areas. The administration believes stronger coordination and technology driven approaches can improve security and public services across the state.
