Digital Health Profiles for Rural Women Under Telangana Health Mission 100
The Telangana government will launch a 100 day health drive offering free diagnostic tests and digital health profiles to millions of rural women through public hospitals and outreach camps.

The Telangana government is set to place public health at the centre of its hundred day action plan with the launch of Health Mission 100 beginning on March 2 and running until June 9. The programme focuses on preventive care and early detection with special attention on women children and senior citizens.
As part of the initiative nearly forty two lakh women from self help groups will receive digital health profiles along with thirty different medical tests free of cost through T Diagnostics. Health officials say the move is aimed at improving early diagnosis while creating a long term health record for rural women.
During the first phase from March 2 to March 31 primary health centres will host special clinics with gynaecology paediatric eye orthopaedic and dental specialists. Government general hospitals will conduct geriatric camps while screening programmes will target anaemia breast cancer and cervical cancer along with iron supplementation.
Schools and anganwadi centres will also be covered under the drive. Through the RBSK programme students will undergo vision checks receive nutrition support and be given routine immunisation to address health issues early.

From April 1 to April 15 the state will strengthen cancer care by notifying cancer as a reportable disease establishing a cancer registry and rolling out a cancer care policy. Screening camps will be organised under the Arogya Mahila programme and chemotherapy services will be mapped at district day care cancer centres.
Between April 16 and May 15 the focus will shift to tuberculosis detection and treatment along with screening for dengue heat related illness and diarrhoeal diseases. Dedicated heat stroke treatment rooms will be set up at major hospitals in Hyderabad Karimnagar Asifabad and Nizamabad.
In the final phase from May 16 to June 9 urban primary health centres will be upgraded into polyclinics while mobile medical units will conduct sickle cell and thalassemia screening in ITDA areas. Special attention will be given to haemophilia with food safety inspections in schools and hostels.
Health officials say the campaign will conclude with a review of outcomes on Telangana Formation Day on June 2 and public awareness activities around World Food Safety Day on June 7 as the state pushes for stronger preventive healthcare systems.
