The Moinabad farmhouse drugs party case has created a major political controversy across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh after the involvement of a sitting TDP MP came to light. Police confirmed that Putta Mahesh Yadav tested positive in a drug test following a raid at a private farmhouse gathering.

The incident occurred at a farmhouse owned by former BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy in Moinabad. During a surprise check on the night of March 14 police detained people who were attending the party and conducted drug tests on all participants.

Initially the rapid drug test conducted on Putta Mahesh Kumar showed a negative result. However further examination of his blood sample later confirmed the presence of drugs which has now turned the case into a major political discussion in Andhra Pradesh as well.

Police arrested eleven people who attended the gathering including ten men and one woman. Among those detained six individuals reportedly tested positive for drug consumption including TDP MP Putta Mahesh Yadav.

According to police officials the investigation revealed several suspicious items at the farmhouse. Officers seized thirty two revolvers manufactured in Germany along with one live round and four empty cartridges. The presence of such weapons has raised further questions about the nature of the gathering.

Authorities also recovered cocaine from the possession of Sharath Kumar who was working as the driver of Pilot Rohith Reddy. In addition large quantities of foreign liquor were seized from the location including forty eight beer bottles and premium brands such as Don Julio Royal Salute Chivas and Belvedere vodka.

Police said the investigation is continuing to determine how the drugs were supplied and who was responsible for organizing the gathering. Officials are also examining the involvement of all individuals present at the farmhouse.

Those named in the FIR include Moravineni Ramesh Putta Mahesh Kumar Panjugula Rohith Reddy Varamachineni Sravan Kumar Namith Sharma Panjugula Rithesh Reddy Nallapaneni Vijaya Krishna Kaushik Ravi Thiruvidula Arjun Reddy R Priyanka Reddy and Silvari Sharath Kumar.
