POLYCET Aspirants Confused as Application Portal Fails to Open
Confusion spread among students after the POLYCET 2026 notification was issued abruptly, with the application portal remaining inaccessible even as the registration window officially began this week.

- POLYCET 2026 website remains inaccessible after notification.
- POLYCET application delay creates uncertainty for students.
- POLYCET authorities asked to resolve technical issues urgently.
Students across the state were left puzzled after the POLYCET 2026 notification was released without prior notice, while the official application website failed to open even by Monday night. The sudden announcement and technical delay caused widespread anxiety among aspirants and parents.
According to the notification issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, applications for POLYCET 2026 were scheduled to open from February 2 and remain available until April 20. The entrance examination itself is planned for May 13. However, candidates attempting to apply on the first day found the website inaccessible, leading to frustration and confusion.
Typically, authorities release the examination schedule one or two weeks in advance to help students understand course options, arrange application fees, and seek guidance from teachers. This time, the lack of advance communication disrupted that process, leaving many unsure about next steps.
Sources indicated that coordination gaps with the agency responsible for maintaining the portal may have contributed to the delay. The issue was brought to the attention of the Commissioner of Technical Education, Sridevasena, who reportedly expressed serious concern over the lapse and instructed officials to fix the problem immediately.
Students and parents are now awaiting clarity on when the POLYCET application portal will go live, hoping authorities will act quickly to prevent further disruption to the admission process.
