The minister also focused on career development opportunities for students who completed General Nursing and Midwifery courses. He instructed officials to allow GNM students to join Post Basic BSc Nursing programmes in nursing colleges so that they can improve qualifications and secure better employment opportunities.

The government is also preparing plans to strengthen midwifery courses and ensure students receive quality training with modern healthcare practices and technology. According to officials, the reforms are expected to improve the overall standard of nursing education in the state.

Officials expressed confidence that these reforms would help Telangana gain recognition at the national level in the nursing sector. The government believes the new colleges and policy changes will improve educational quality, increase student enrolment and further strengthen the healthcare system in the state.
