The Telangana Assembly Budget Session schedule has been officially finalised, setting the stage for an important phase in the state’s legislative calendar. The Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat, approved the dates after detailed discussions on the legislative roadmap.

The Budget Session will be held from March 16 to March 30. Proceedings will begin with the Governor’s address to both Houses on March 16, outlining the government’s vision and priorities. The following two days, March 17 and 18, will be dedicated to discussions and a motion of thanks on the Governor’s address.

A major highlight of the session will come on March 20, when Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will present the state budget for the 2026 to 27 financial year. The budget is expected to reflect the government’s focus on welfare, development, and fiscal planning.

With crucial debates lined up and policy decisions expected, the Budget Session is likely to play a decisive role in shaping Telangana’s economic and governance agenda for the year ahead.
