Samsung Expands AI Anti Fraud Protection Across More Galaxy Smartphones
Samsung is rolling out an AI powered anti fraud feature to more Galaxy devices, aiming to detect scam calls in real time and alert users instantly while keeping personal data secure on device

As online fraud continues to surge globally, smartphone makers are stepping up efforts to protect users from increasingly sophisticated scams. Samsung is now moving aggressively in this direction by expanding its AI based anti fraud feature to a wider range of Galaxy smartphones, making it harder for cybercriminals to deceive users.
The feature, which first appeared in premium models, is designed to recognize suspicious activity during phone calls. It works in real time, monitoring conversations for patterns commonly associated with fraud attempts. If anything unusual is detected, users receive an immediate warning, helping them avoid falling into traps set by scammers posing as bank officials or service agents.
What sets this system apart is its focus on privacy. Powered by Google technology and running on the device through Gemini AI, the feature analyzes call data locally instead of sending it to external servers. This ensures that sensitive information remains सुरक्षित on the user’s phone while still delivering fast and accurate alerts.
Samsung has integrated this capability directly into its native phone application in collaboration with Google. The technology itself was initially introduced on Pixel devices before being adapted for Samsung’s flagship lineup. Now, the company appears ready to bring the same protection to a broader audience.
Recent findings from app code updates suggest that upcoming foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8, will also support this feature. In addition, Samsung is expected to extend availability to various regional models across international markets.
The expansion signals a larger strategy by Samsung to make AI driven fraud detection a standard offering across its ecosystem. As digital scams grow more complex, such built in safeguards could play a crucial role in protecting everyday users from financial and personal data losses.
