Samsung set to increase prices of Galaxy A and F series smartphones in India
Reports suggest Samsung could increase prices of popular Galaxy A and F series smartphones by up to 3500 rupees prompting buyers to consider purchasing devices before revised pricing takes effect

Consumers planning to buy a Samsung smartphone may need to act quickly, as fresh reports indicate an imminent price hike across several popular models in India. Devices such as the Samsung Galaxy A56, Samsung Galaxy A06 and Samsung Galaxy F17 are expected to see noticeable increases, potentially impacting buyers in the budget and mid range segments.
According to industry leaks, the revised pricing could come into effect from April 10, although updated prices have not yet appeared on online platforms. This creates a short window for buyers to purchase these smartphones at their current rates before any official revision is reflected across retail channels. While Samsung has not formally confirmed the changes, multiple reports suggest that the increase is highly likely.
The expected hike varies depending on the model. The Galaxy A06 could see a modest rise of around 1000 rupees, pushing its price close to 13499 rupees. In contrast, the Galaxy A56 may witness the steepest jump, with estimates ranging between 2000 and 3500 rupees. This could significantly alter its positioning in the competitive mid range category.
Other models are also likely to be affected. The Samsung Galaxy A17 is expected to get a price bump of around 1000 to 1500 rupees, with its top variant possibly reaching 27999 rupees. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A36 could see an increase between 1500 and 3000 rupees depending on the configuration, taking its price up to approximately 43499 rupees.
This is not the first time Samsung has revised its pricing strategy. The company has previously increased prices of select Galaxy A and F series smartphones by 1000 to 2000 rupees. However, the current expected hike appears broader and more substantial, which could directly affect affordability for everyday buyers.
Samsung’s Galaxy A and F series have built strong popularity in India by offering a balance of features and pricing. A price increase across multiple models may influence purchasing decisions, especially among budget conscious consumers who rely on these devices for value driven performance.
With the possibility of revised pricing just around the corner, buyers looking to upgrade may find it worthwhile to secure their preferred model sooner rather than later.
