- Admit cards released for CUET UG exams
The National Testing Agency has officially announced the revised schedule for the CUET UG 2026 entrance examination conducted for university admissions across the country. Along with the updated exam dates, the agency has also released important details regarding admit cards for candidates.
According to the latest notification, the examinations that were earlier postponed will now be conducted on May 31, June 6 and June 7. The rescheduling was done after the exam planned for May 28 was cancelled due to the Eid Ul Adha festival.
NTA confirmed that admit cards for the May 31 examination have already been released. Candidates appearing for the test can download their hall tickets from the official CUET website. The agency also stated that admit cards for the June 6 and June 7 examinations will be released shortly.
Students have been advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates related to examination centres, admit cards and other important instructions. Officials said all updates regarding the examination process will be made available online.
CUET UG was introduced in 2022 to simplify the admission process for Central, State and private universities across India. Before the introduction of the common entrance system, students had to appear for multiple entrance examinations conducted separately by universities.
Education experts believe the common test has reduced pressure on students by creating a more standardised admission process. Thousands of candidates from across the country appear for CUET every year to secure admissions into undergraduate programmes offered by various universities.
With the revised examination dates now announced, students are focusing on final preparations while waiting for the remaining admit cards to be issued by the National Testing Agency.
