Aviation safety concerns have resurfaced after pilots issued new warnings about the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, amid lingering public anxiety following recent air accident tragedies.

The Federation of Indian Pilots has urged authorities to immediately ground all Boeing 787 aircraft, warning that unresolved electrical issues could lead to serious accidents. Its president Captain C S Randhawa said repeated technical failures point to deeper system level problems that cannot be ignored any longer.

According to the pilots body, electrical systems on the Boeing 787 have shown recurring faults, increasing the risk to passengers and crew. Captain Randhawa stressed that comprehensive field level inspections must be carried out before any further operations, stating that safety should come before schedules and commercial pressure.

The warning follows a recent incident at London Heathrow airport, where an Air India Boeing 787 8 aircraft experienced an automatic shutdown of a fuel control switch. The issue was detected by the pilot, after which the aircraft was grounded and reported to the aviation regulator.

Aviation experts note that such incidents add to growing unease among travelers. Pilots argue that lessons from past accidents must be taken seriously and that preventive action now could avoid tragic outcomes later.

With scrutiny increasing on aircraft safety standards, the demand to ground Boeing 787 jets has sparked debate within the aviation industry, placing passenger safety firmly back at the center of public discussion.
