Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy delivered a strong message on welfare governance and social justice while addressing a gathering at Shilpakala Vedika. He said the government belongs to the people and was formed with the clear intention of bringing meaningful change to the lives of ordinary citizens.

The Chief Minister recalled the difficult political battle during the 2023 elections. He said his party had neither an administrative machinery nor illegal financial strength behind it but relied on determination and public support to form the government.

Speaking about the long pending issue of Scheduled Caste classification Revanth Reddy said the matter has been under discussion for decades and several activists even sacrificed their lives in the struggle for justice. He noted that he had personally followed the issue for nearly twenty years and supported the movement whenever possible.

He stated that Telangana became the first state to implement the classification after the Supreme Court directions. While acknowledging that classification alone may not solve every issue he assured that other concerns such as promotions education land rights and livelihood opportunities will also be addressed.

Revanth Reddy also urged the community to remain united and alert while the government works to resolve social challenges. He asked people to stand by the government against any opposition that may try to obstruct reforms.

Highlighting the importance of public servants he said government employees are the eyes ears and brand ambassadors of the administration. According to him their dedication is essential to ensure that welfare schemes reach the poorest families.

The Chief Minister explained that the government has launched a ninety nine day Praja Palana and Pragati action plan aimed at strengthening welfare delivery and improving public services. Officials have been instructed to ensure that ration cards housing schemes and free electricity benefits reach eligible beneficiaries.

He also spoke about the financial challenges faced by the state pointing out that nearly one thousand government employees retire every month requiring about one thousand crore rupees in retirement benefits. Despite these pressures he said the government is maintaining financial balance and continuing welfare initiatives.

Revanth Reddy stressed that education remains the most powerful tool for social transformation. The government is working to reform the education system and improve facilities in hostels and schools so that students from disadvantaged communities receive better opportunities.

He said the goal is not just to provide temporary benefits but to empower people through education and professional opportunities. According to him communities should produce doctors engineers lawyers and administrators who can contribute to the development of Telangana.

Concluding his speech the Chief Minister said he considers the opportunity to serve as Chief Minister a responsibility to help people and uplift weaker sections. He assured that the government will protect the legal rights of marginalized communities and continue working for inclusive development across the state.
