A shocking incident at Denver International Airport led to the death of an unidentified person after a departing aircraft reportedly struck the individual during takeoff preparations on the runway.

The incident involved a Frontier Airlines Airbus A321 operating Flight 4345 to Los Angeles with 224 passengers and seven crew members onboard. Officials said the aircraft was accelerating for takeoff when a person suddenly appeared on the runway.

According to preliminary reports, the pilot immediately halted the takeoff after noticing the impact and later informed air traffic control that the aircraft may have struck a person and that flames were visible near the engine area.

Smoke reportedly spread into parts of the cabin, causing panic among passengers. Flight crew quickly initiated emergency evacuation procedures and safely evacuated everyone onboard using emergency slides. A few passengers reportedly suffered minor injuries during the evacuation process.

Airport authorities later revealed that the deceased individual had allegedly crossed airport security fencing and entered the restricted runway zone only minutes before the collision. Investigators are now examining how the person managed to breach high security airport areas.

The runway incident has triggered a major investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board. Officials are also working to identify the victim and determine the exact sequence of events leading to the tragedy.

The incident temporarily disrupted airport operations and raised fresh concerns about runway security and emergency response systems at major international airports in the United States.
