Environment in schools should be kept clean:District Collector Shashanka

The south India Times Mahbubabad: District Collector K. Shashanka directed the officials to provide a clean environment in the schools and provide healthy services to the students. The Collector conducted a surprise inspection of Kasturiba Gandhi Girls’ Vidyalaya in Mahabubabad on Tuesday. The stored water in the premises of the Vidyalaya premises should be removed immediately and cleaning work should be undertaken. The collector ordered that the health of the students should be taken care of due to the unhygienic environment.

The Collector ordered that the toilets should be maintained properly and that doors should be installed and painted to ensure that there is no water problem. On this occasion, the collector inspected the dining hall, store room, dormitory, toilets, and kitchen. Checked the food items in the store room and gave several orders regarding management. Similarly, the Collector suggested that the menu board and the schedule of daily activities should be updated from time to time. The collector directed the municipal and education department officials to immediately remove the stored water in the school premises and take up cleaning work from tomorrow. The Collector directed the ANM to take special care for the health of the students and under no circumstances should they be treated by the RMPs. District Education Officer Abdul Hai, Special Officer of Kasturiba Gandhi Girls Vidyalaya B. Bhavani Tehsildar Nagabhavani, Co-ordinator, Municipal, Engineering Officers and others participated.
