1,400 Assistant Professor posts will be filled soon in MCs: Min Harsih

Hyderabad: Telangana Medical and Health Minister T Harish Rao on Monday said that the BRS government will take steps to fill up 1400 Assistant Professor posts in Medical Colleges in the state. With this, the health care would improve to some extent in Telangana, he said.
Speaking after inaugurating “ Infection Prevention, Early Detection and Management” program, organized at Petlaburj Hospital in Old city, the Minister said the government was implementing KCR KITS, Amma Vadi, Nutritious Kits and among others for the benefit of pregnant women in the state. He stated that presently the state was in third place in maternal mortality rate, better than the Indian average, and hope to reach the first place. The Minister advised ANM and Asha workers to join the high-risk pregnant women in the hospital before the delivery date.Harish Rao warned that some doctors are making deliveries before their due date and strict action will be taken against them.
