BRS to set up party offices in 4 major cities in Maharashtra in 1st phase : KCR

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana, has decided to set up its party offices in four major cities in Maharashtra in the first phase. The party has decided to set up party offices in first phase in Nagpur, Aurangabad, Pune and Mumbai and the party would not have poll alliance with any party in Maharashtra, BRS Supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced at a meeting held in Telangana Bhavan here on Monday evening with key leaders of the party from Maharashtra.
KCR said that the local leaders in 288 assembly constituencies prepared and completed all kinds of campaign materials to take the party to the people by undertaking party building programs like setting up village branches every day. Maharashtra state is struggling because the successive state governments adopted irresponsible and lopsided policies, the CM said ‘ the administration in Maharashtra, which has great socio-cultural political consciousness, is deteriorating day-by-day. People of Maharashtra are highly conscious, Rao said.The BRS is working hard to bring qualitative development in the lives of the people, he said the party is already gaining people’s confidence. People are discussing the BRS in the villages, KCR claimed. Maratha people realized that the parties who ruled the state all these years had neglected their development. People are more attracted to Telangana’s development model, he said. The Chief Minister said people are showing enthusiasm and participating in the BRS public meetings and making them successful and added that the public response to the party in Maharashtra is akin to the Telangana movement. Now, the BRS wave started in Maharashtra.
During the meeting, Party leaders discussed about strengthening the party in Maharashtra. KCR discussed with main Maharashtra leaders about the BRS action plan, formation of the party’s affiliated various committees in addition to the formation of party committees in 288 constituencies and the establishment of party wings in villages and talukas across the state.
