The sudden death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a tragic plane crash has left the political community in deep grief. The accident claimed the lives of six people and triggered widespread condolences from leaders across the country.

Among those who reacted emotionally was Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Taking to social media, he shared a photograph taken just four days earlier during a public programme where he had met Ajit Pawar. The post reflected his disbelief and sorrow over the unexpected loss.

In his message, Pawan Kalyan said he was deeply shaken by the news. He remembered Ajit Pawar as a committed public leader whose contributions to Maharashtra’s development and welfare would always be remembered. The shared photograph dates back to a recent event in Nanded, where Pawan Kalyan had visited the Sachkhand Gurudwara as a government guest. He attended the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sikh Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh and offered special prayers.

During that programme, several senior leaders were present, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, MP Ashok Chavan and Bhokar MLA Jayashree Chavan. As messages continue to pour in from across the nation, the tragedy has once again highlighted how fragile life can be, even for leaders actively shaping public life.
