After months of anticipation, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has declared the final Group 2 results, bringing much awaited clarity for thousands of job aspirants across the state.

The results were released late Tuesday night for the Group 2 recruitment issued under the 2023 notification. Through this process, the commission aimed to fill executive and non executive posts in various government departments.

Out of the total 905 notified vacancies, 891 candidates have been provisionally selected. The list of qualified candidates has been made available on the official APPSC website.

Officials stated that the selection process was conducted strictly on merit while following reservation norms, ensuring transparency throughout the recruitment exercise.

Fourteen posts have remained unfilled. Of these, two posts linked to the sports quota were kept pending following directions from the High Court. The remaining twelve posts could not be filled due to the non availability of eligible candidates in certain reserved categories.

The commission clarified that all appointments will remain subject to final court orders in cases that are currently under legal review, particularly those related to reservation matters.

Selected candidates will soon be called for certificate verification and completion of other formal procedures before appointment orders are issued.

With the recruitment nearing completion, the government expects administrative departments to benefit from reduced staff shortages and improved public service delivery across the state.
