- Telangana Government releases Rs 745 crore pending funds to employees.
- Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu issues orders for fund release.
- Additional Rs 389 crore allocated for rural pending bills and development.
In a significant move that brings relief to thousands of employees, the Telangana Government has cleared long pending dues and ensured that funds are credited directly into accounts. After years of delay and repeated appeals from employee unions, the state administration has finally acted on its assurance.
According to official orders issued under the direction of Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, a total of Rs 745 crore worth of pending bills has been released. The decision follows recent discussions between the government and employee associations, where a phased clearance of outstanding payments was promised.
Employees across departments have welcomed the development, stating that regular clearance of pending bills will ease financial pressure. Many expressed hope that the government will continue releasing dues every month instead of allowing them to accumulate again.
The announcement has also triggered positive reactions from employee unions, who described the decision as a step in the right direction. They noted that timely payments would improve morale and strengthen trust between staff and the administration.
In addition to employee dues, the state government has extended financial support to rural areas. Following the formation of new local governing bodies after recent elections, funds have been allocated to address pending village level bills. An additional Rs 389 crore has been released to support infrastructure works, sanitation management, and other essential services in villages.
Officials believe that this financial push will accelerate stalled development activities and help clear accumulated liabilities at the grassroots level. With funds now being distributed, both government employees and rural administrations are expected to experience immediate financial relief.
