Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has conducted a high level review of Amaravati capital construction works, stressing the need to accelerate progress and maintain strict quality standards. He described the capital project as a matter of long term importance for the state rather than just a routine construction activity.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed officials and construction agencies to ensure that all works move forward without delays. He emphasized that quality should not be compromised under any circumstances, even as efforts are made to speed up execution.
To improve efficiency, Chandrababu directed departments to set clear weekly and monthly targets for different stages of construction. He said such planning would help track progress closely and ensure timely completion of key components of the capital project.
Officials briefed him on priority works that need to be completed before the onset of the monsoon season. The Chief Minister underlined the importance of finishing critical infrastructure within this timeframe to avoid disruptions due to weather conditions.
He also suggested increasing the workforce wherever necessary to meet deadlines and prevent bottlenecks. Proper coordination and continuous monitoring, he said, are essential to keep the project on schedule.
The Chief Minister reiterated that Amaravati represents the future vision of Andhra Pradesh and called on all stakeholders to work with commitment and accountability. He made it clear that timely delivery and high standards will be the key focus as the project moves forward.
