The donor, identified as Thodupunoori Srinivas from Nizamabad district, donated a Lakshmi kasu necklace weighing around 107.5 grams. Studded with emeralds and rubies, the ornament is estimated to be worth nearly Rs 16.7 lakh in the market. Temple officials received the offering with traditional honours and extended a warm welcome to the donor’s family.
The donation ceremony was attended by Duvvada Srinivas, who accompanied the donor to the temple. After darshan, special rituals were performed for the necklace inside the sanctum before it was formally handed over to the temple authorities. Vedic scholars blessed the family and offered prasadam following the ceremony.
Meanwhile, temple authorities are preparing for a surge in pilgrim footfall with the onset of summer holidays. Located on the Indrakeeladri hill, the temple is expected to witness increased visitor numbers in the coming weeks.

The temple administration stated that donations received from devotees will be utilised for development activities and improving facilities. With both spiritual offerings and infrastructure upgrades, the temple continues to remain a major center of devotion and activity in Vijayawada.
