A new political narrative is taking shape in Telangana as Kavitha presented her party’s vision through a manifesto titled Panchajanyam. The announcement, made during a large public meeting in Medchal, marks a significant step in defining the agenda of her newly launched party.
The manifesto outlines five major promises aimed at bringing wide ranging changes in people’s lives. Kavitha positioned these commitments as core strategies to address long standing issues faced by different sections of society, especially those from economically weaker backgrounds.
One of the central highlights of the manifesto is the promise of free education. Kavitha stated that the government would take full responsibility for education expenses from the primary level to higher studies. This benefit, she said, would extend beyond government institutions to include students studying in private schools and colleges as well.
The proposal is aimed at easing the financial burden on families, particularly those from middle class and lower income groups. By ensuring access to education without cost barriers, the plan seeks to create equal opportunities for all students across the state.
Social justice forms another key pillar of the manifesto. Kavitha emphasised the need to ensure equal opportunities for communities including SC ST BC groups and economically weaker sections among upper castes. She also highlighted targeted measures for minority communities, including Muslims Christians and Sikhs.
Special focus has been placed on tribal development. Kavitha announced plans to establish dedicated corporations to support the growth and welfare of tribal communities and Lambadas. The initiative aims to address gaps in development and improve access to resources.
Housing was also included as a priority area. The manifesto promises efforts to ensure that every poor family in the state can achieve the dream of owning a house, reflecting a broader commitment to welfare driven governance.
With these five promises, Kavitha signalled her intent to bring a new approach to Telangana politics. The Panchajanyam manifesto, she said, is designed to deliver tangible benefits and create a more inclusive system for all sections of society.
