Telangana is preparing for another phase of large scale infrastructure expansion with plans to build Outer Ring Roads for Khammam, Warangal, and Karimnagar. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy instructed officials to move forward with development proposals aimed at improving connectivity and urban growth across the state.

During a high level review meeting on Mega Growth Corridors, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for uniform development plans covering municipal corporations and rapidly growing regions. Officials from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department participated in the discussions held at MCR HRD Institute.

Revanth Reddy also proposed several new growth and tourism corridors across Telangana. Plans are being prepared to connect Mahabubnagar, Bhoothpur, and Jadcherla through a dedicated growth corridor. Another corridor is expected to link Kothagudem, Palvoncha, and Sujathanagar to strengthen regional development.

The government is also focusing on tourism expansion by planning a special corridor connecting Adilabad, Nagoba, Basara, and Kadem Project areas. A separate temple corridor between Nalgonda and Yadagirigutta is also under consideration to boost religious tourism and improve travel facilities for devotees.

Keeping future airport projects in mind, the Chief Minister asked officials to design roads and infrastructure that can support development for the next 25 years. He noted that the proposed Warangal Airport could significantly transform the surrounding region and stressed the importance of planning water supply and supporting facilities in advance.

The review meeting also focused on sustainable urban planning. Revanth Reddy directed officials to promote electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, underground drainage networks, sewage treatment plants, and smart traffic management using artificial intelligence technologies.

He further instructed municipalities to establish solar power plants and adopt integrated planning models to reduce urban costs and improve public infrastructure. Officials were told to ensure that all future growth corridors include modern civic amenities and environmentally friendly systems.
