- Vande Bharat route changes announced
- Bengaluru travel schedules may shift
- Railway work affects train operations
Passengers travelling on the Kacheguda to Yeshwanthpur Vande Bharat service have been advised to check travel updates carefully as temporary route modifications are expected during the first week of June. Railway officials have announced changes due to planned engineering works in Bengaluru.
The railway department stated that large scale maintenance and infrastructure works will be carried out near Yelahanka Junction on June 7 and June 8. Because of these activities, some operational changes are expected in train movement and schedules.
Travellers may experience an increase in journey time as trains could be diverted through alternative routes. Officials indicated that travel duration may increase by around 30 to 60 minutes depending on operational requirements and traffic conditions on the revised route.
One of the major changes expected during this period involves the Krishnarajapuram station stop. The train will not halt there during the temporary arrangements. Passengers planning to board or get down at that station are advised to make alternative arrangements in advance.
Railway authorities have suggested that passengers consider nearby stations including Bengaluru Cantonment or Yeshwanthpur for their travel requirements. Commuters working in the technology sector and business travellers have also been advised to review schedules before starting their journeys.
Passengers are encouraged to regularly monitor train status updates through official railway platforms and mobile applications for platform information and schedule changes. Services are expected to return to normal operations after the completion of the works.
