The South India times Jagtial: On the occasion of Independence Day, the policemen who were selected for the prestigious police excellence and service medals offered by the central and state governments for their outstanding service in the police department were handed over by the hands of the state welfare minister Koppula Iswar. Korutla CI Rajasekhar Raju, Swami Home Guard, Ellaiah Head Constable, Suresh Home Guard, and Rajesham Home Guard received Utkrish Seva Medals.
Similarly, Madipelli SI Sudhir Rao, Town ASI Chandrasekhar, Mallyala ASI Krishna Kumar, Korutla PS Head Constable M.Rajaiah, District Special Branch Head Constable Sheikh Mohammad, Mohammad Safdar Ali, Ashok Head Constable. Birpur ASI Gajenders received service medals. District SP Sindhu Sharma congratulated the policemen who received medals on this occasion.
