BJP’s Telangana Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar arrested

Jangaon: BJP Telangana unit President Bandi Sanjay Kumar, MP was arrested by the police on Tuesday when he attempted to conduct a dharna at Pamnur of Station Ghanpur Mandal in this district in protest against the arrest of party activists who held a dharna in front of TRS MLC K Kavitha’s house in Hyderabad on Monday over her alleged involvement in Delhi liquor scam. The BJP activists strongly protested when Bandi Sanjay was arrested.

Tension prevailed in the area. In the process of stopping the police vehicle carrying the Karimnagar Lok Saba MP, some of the BJP activists were injured. Later, Police shifted Bandi Sanjay to his residence in Karimnagar and placed him under house arrest, according to police sources.
