Distribution of 1000 earthen Ganapatis sanctioned to the district

The South India times Gadwal: District Collector Vallur Kranti said that earthen Ganapati’s should be used for environmental protection. In the program of distribution of one thousand earthen Ganapatis sanctioned to the district by the District Backward Classes Development Department in the Collectorate meeting hall on Monday, Earthen Ganapati was given to the district collector presented.

She said that on the occasion of the Vinayaka Chavithi festival, people should use clay idols of Lord Ganesha to protect the environment, if everyone uses clay Ganpatis for worship, the clay will dissolve in water after immersion. He called to protect the environment and prevent pollution. Backward Classes Development Department Jogulamba Gadwala district with their cooperation handed over 600 Vinayaka idols to Municipal Commissioner for free distribution.
