AP SSC Exams 2026 Schedule Revised, English Paper Date Changed

The Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has introduced a small but important change to the SSC public examination schedule for 2026, offering clarity and convenience to lakhs of Class 10 students across the state. While the overall exam calendar remains unchanged, the English paper has been rescheduled to avoid a festival-related inconvenience.

According to the revised notification, the AP SSC examinations will begin on March 16, 2026, and continue until April 1, 2026. Most examinations will be conducted in the morning session, starting at 9.30 am and concluding at 12.45 pm. However, select papers such as Physical Science, Biological Science and vocational subjects will have shorter durations, ending earlier as per subject requirements.

The English examination, which was initially scheduled for March 20, has now been moved to March 21. Officials clarified that the decision was taken keeping student comfort in mind, after reviewing the holiday calendar. All other subject dates remain the same.

Education department officials confirmed that the same examination schedule will apply to students appearing under the SSC Academic course as well as the OSSC stream. Students have been advised to reach their examination centres at least 30 minutes in advance to avoid last minute stress.

Authorities have also urged schools to complete syllabus portions by February and focus on revision and model paper practice. Students are advised to download their hall tickets once released and carefully verify personal details such as name, photograph, date of birth and examination centre.

With adequate preparation time and planned gaps between major subjects, officials believe the revised timetable will help students approach the AP SSC Exams 2026 with better confidence and focus.
