In a significant political move ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to campaign across key cities in the state, lending his support to candidates of the National Democratic Alliance. The Telugu Desam Party confirmed that its chief will undertake a two day tour starting Monday, aiming to energize party workers and connect directly with voters.

The campaign begins in Coimbatore, where Naidu will address a public meeting before moving on to Hosur and Thalli for a series of rallies. Later in the evening, he is scheduled to hold a major roadshow in Chennai’s Avadi area, interacting closely with supporters and highlighting the alliance’s vision for governance and development.

On the second day, Naidu will travel to Madurai and Sattur, where he is expected to meet local leaders and further consolidate the NDA’s presence in the region. Party sources indicate that the tour is designed not only to boost morale among alliance cadres but also to strengthen outreach among undecided voters.

Known for his emphasis on technology driven administration and development oriented policies, Naidu is likely to underline how the NDA’s approach could shape Tamil Nadu’s future. His speeches are expected to focus on infrastructure growth, governance reforms, and economic opportunities.

Tamil Nadu will go to the polls for all 234 Assembly constituencies on April 23 in a single phase. Campaigning is scheduled to conclude on April 21, with vote counting set for May 4.
