Medaram Hundi Counting Continues Over Rs Ten Crore Collected So Far
Hundi counting at Medaram continues with officials reporting over ten crore rupees collected in four days as authorities complete counting of hundreds of donation boxes and deposit funds regularly.

The counting of hundi collections is continuing at Medaram as officials steadily tally donations received during the festivities.
On the fourth day of counting held on Sunday officials opened and counted 200 hundis which generated an income of Rs two crore sixty four lakh seventy five thousand. With this the total revenue has seen a significant rise.
Out of the total 828 hundis installed at the venue counting of 625 hundis has been completed over the last four days. Officials said the process is being carried out systematically under tight supervision.
So far the total amount collected through hundis has reached Rs ten crore seventy one lakh twenty two thousand. Authorities expect the figure to rise further as the remaining hundis are yet to be counted.
Officials from the endowments department said the cash collected from hundis is being deposited into banks on a regular basis to ensure transparency and security during the counting process.
The counting exercise is expected to continue until all hundis are cleared and final figures are officially announced.
