- TGO demands PRC with 42 percent fitment.
- Employees seek summer transfer permissions.
- Pending DA payments requested immediately.
The Telangana government employees union TGO has renewed its demand for immediate implementation of the Pay Revision Commission for state employees. The union leaders said the prolonged delay has caused growing frustration among staff across departments.
TGO central union president Eluri Srinivasa Rao and general secretary Shyam stated that the PRC report timeline expired nearly 22 months ago. Despite repeated extensions by the government, no final decision has been announced so far. They urged the state to declare the PRC with 42 percent fitment without further delay.
The leaders also raised concerns over stalled employee transfers. They said general transfers were not permitted during last summer and requested the government to allow transfers this year at least. According to the union, many employees have been working in the same locations for six to thirteen years, affecting morale and administrative efficiency.
Another key demand highlighted was the release of four pending Dearness Allowance instalments that have been due since November 2024. The union said employees are struggling with rising living costs while allowances remain unpaid.
TGO further appealed to the government to allocate sufficient funds for PRC implementation in the upcoming financial year budget. The union leaders expressed hope that the administration would address employee issues promptly and take steps to restore confidence among the workforce.
They reiterated that timely PRC implementation, DA release and transfer permissions are essential to maintain employee motivation and ensure smooth functioning of government services across the state.
