Nalgonda Road Accident Claims Young Constable After Poll Duty

A 30 year old constable returning home after municipal election counting duty died on the spot when a speeding DCM vehicle hit his bike near Chandanapally in Nalgonda district on Friday evening.

A tragic road accident in Nalgonda district has left the police department in deep shock. A young constable lost his life just hours after completing election related duty, turning a routine return home into a heartbreaking end.

The incident occurred near Chandanapally village on Friday evening. Shaik Tayyub aged 30 who was serving at the Munugode police station had been deployed for municipal election counting duties throughout the day. After finishing his assignment he started for his native place Nakirekal on his motorcycle.

As he reached the outskirts of Chandanapally a DCM vehicle coming at high speed rammed into his bike. The impact was severe and left the constable with critical injuries. He died on the spot before any medical help could arrive.

Local residents alerted the police immediately. The Nalgonda Rural SI along with staff rushed to the scene and took custody of the body. It was later shifted to the Nalgonda government hospital for postmortem examination.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace the DCM vehicle involved in the crash. Efforts are on to identify the driver and determine the exact cause of the accident.

The sudden death of the young constable has triggered grief among family members colleagues and senior officers. Many described him as a sincere officer who had just completed a demanding day of election duty before fate intervened.
