Senior Congress leader and former MLC T Jeevan Reddy was hospitalised in Hyderabad after his health deteriorated suddenly, triggering concern among party leaders and supporters across Telangana.
According to family members, Jeevan Reddy developed acute vomiting and loose motions, possibly due to food-related infection or dehydration. Initial treatment was provided at home, but as his condition failed to improve, doctors advised immediate hospitalisation for advanced care.
He was later shifted to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, where a special medical team is monitoring his condition. Doctors stated that he is stable and responding to treatment, with precautionary measures taken to prevent dehydration and related complications.
The news of his hospitalisation led to senior Congress leaders and party workers arriving at NIMS to inquire about his health. Known for his strong grassroots connect and outspoken political style, Jeevan Reddy remains an influential figure in the Karimnagar region.
