Hyderabad Police Invite Special Police Officer Jobs 2026 Without Written Test

Hyderabad City Police has announced recruitment for Special Police Officer jobs in 2026, offering a fresh opportunity for experienced personnel without a written examination. A total of 138 temporary posts will be filled across the city to strengthen policing needs.

The recruitment is open exclusively to Telangana residents who are ex servicemen former paramilitary personnel and retired police staff. Applications are being accepted through an offline process, and candidates must submit forms in person at the SPOs office located at the CAR headquarters in Petlaburz Hyderabad.

Officials said applicants must submit valid residence proof such as Aadhaar voter ID or driving licence along with service related documents. Ex servicemen should be below 58 years of age as on January thirty one 2026 and must have left service within the last two years. Retired police and paramilitary personnel are eligible up to 62 years of age.

Selection will be carried out based on educational qualifications professional experience and local status. There will be no written test. Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of twenty six thousand rupees. The post does not include paid leave and any absence will result in salary deduction.

Applicants must carry original and photocopies of discharge book retirement orders PAN card SBI passbook and three passport size photographs. Driver applicants should possess a valid LMV or HMV licence while those with technical skills must submit relevant certificates. Authorities clarified that applications will be accepted only through personal submission and no phone enquiries will be entertained.
