Patancheru Road Accident Triggers Chaos as Three Buses Collide Near Rudraram

A major road accident caused panic and traffic chaos in the Patancheru area of Sangareddy district on Saturday afternoon when three passenger buses rammed into each other near Rudraram village. The collision occurred on the busy Mumbai National Highway, triggering long traffic snarls and panic among commuters.

According to preliminary information, the accident happened near the Rudraram bus stop when an RTC bus slowed down to pick up passengers. A second RTC bus approaching from behind failed to stop in time and crashed into it. Moments later, a private travels bus following the two vehicles lost control and slammed into them, resulting in a chain collision.

Passengers inside the buses were jolted by the impact, with many thrown off balance. Several people sustained minor injuries. Local residents rushed to help and alerted the police, who arrived quickly at the spot. The injured were shifted to a nearby government hospital for medical treatment.

The accident brought traffic on the national highway to a standstill, with vehicles stranded for several kilometres. Police deployed cranes to remove the damaged buses and gradually restored traffic movement. Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident and assess possible negligence.
