The Telugu Film Journalists Association has taken disciplinary action against senior journalist VSN Murthy. The association announced a three month suspension after concluding that he violated the organisation’s rules and guidelines.
According to TFJA officials, the decision was taken after repeated complaints regarding Murthy’s conduct on social media. The association stated that he frequently targeted fellow journalists with public criticism, which created internal disagreements among members.
Following these developments, the association held discussions and decided to impose a temporary suspension on VSN Murthy. TFJA leaders said the step was necessary to maintain professional discipline and harmony among members of the organisation.
The association also issued a request to film public relations officers during the suspension period. TFJA asked PROs not to provide professional cooperation to VSN Murthy until the suspension period is completed.
Officials further clarified that film industry representatives should avoid offering him personal interviews or inviting him to movie press meets during this time. The association believes such measures are needed to enforce its rules and protect professional standards.
