Young job seekers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have received encouraging news as the Indian Air Force prepares to conduct the Agniveer Open Recruitment Rally for new candidates. The rally offers an opportunity for youth with intermediate or diploma qualifications to join the Air Force.
The Agniveer Open Recruitment Rally will take place from March eight to March eighteen at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur. The event is being organised by the Twelfth Airmen Selection Centre to recruit eligible candidates into the Indian Air Force under the Agniveer scheme.
Officials said this recruitment drive provides a valuable opportunity for young men and women who aspire to serve in the armed forces. Wing Commander Shaik Yakub Ali urged eligible candidates to participate and make use of the opportunity to build a career in the Indian Air Force.
According to the schedule female candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can attend the Agniveer Open Recruitment Rally on March nine and ten. Male candidates from Andhra Pradesh will appear on March twelve and thirteen while male candidates from Telangana will attend on March fifteen and sixteen.
Candidates must report between six in the morning and ten in the morning at the venue. Applicants must be unmarried and fall within the age group of seventeen and a half years to twenty one years with birth dates between July two two thousand five and January two two thousand nine.
The minimum height requirement is one hundred fifty two centimetres. Educational qualifications include intermediate or an equivalent course a three year polytechnic diploma or a two year vocational course such as ITI. Candidates must also secure at least fifty percent marks in English.
Applicants do not need to register online for the rally but must carry original documents or DigiLocker certified certificates along with identity proof Aadhaar card passport size photographs and photocopies of all required documents.
The selection process will include a one point six kilometre run physical fitness tests and medical examination followed by a written test for candidates who qualify in earlier stages.
