Heavy Rush of Devotees at Tirumala with Darshan Waiting Time Reaching Twenty Hours

Thousands of devotees throng Tirumala temple during the weekend with long queues stretching beyond queue complexes as pilgrims wait many hours to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Tirumala witnessed a massive surge of devotees as thousands of pilgrims arrived to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara during the weekend. The holy hill temple saw continuous crowds with long queues forming across multiple waiting areas.

All compartments at the Vaikuntham Queue Complex were completely filled while the lines extended further up to the Narayanagiri sheds. The temple surroundings accommodation complexes and nearby bus stations were crowded with devotees waiting patiently for their turn to enter the shrine.

Officials said the waiting time for the free Sarva Darshan has reached nearly twenty hours due to the heavy rush. Devotees who booked time slot darshan are waiting for around eight hours while those opting for the three hundred rupees special entry darshan are spending close to six hours before reaching the sanctum.

Temple authorities have been managing the crowd by regulating queues and guiding pilgrims through designated routes. Volunteers and staff are assisting devotees and ensuring smooth movement despite the large turnout.

On Friday alone a total of fifty nine thousand one hundred ninety four devotees had darshan of the deity. During the same period about twenty five thousand two hundred ninety five devotees offered their hair as part of the traditional ritual.

The temple also received generous offerings from devotees. The hundi collections for the day amounted to approximately three point eight seven crore rupees reflecting the strong faith of pilgrims visiting the sacred shrine.

The steady flow of devotees highlights the deep spiritual connection people share with the Tirumala temple which continues to draw millions of pilgrims from across the country every year.
