Anti Corruption Bureau raids involving Medchal Deputy Collector Vamsi Mohan have become a major topic of discussion across Telangana after investigators reportedly uncovered details of large scale assets during searches.
Officials carried out searches at multiple locations connected to Vamsi Mohan, including his residences and several associated properties. Reports suggest that teams conducted inspections at eight locations as part of the ongoing investigation into alleged disproportionate assets.
During the inquiry, investigators are said to have identified assets worth significant amounts that may not match known sources of income. Authorities are continuing to examine financial records and property related information as part of the case.
The investigation has also brought attention to allegations linked to government land transactions during Vamsi Mohan’s period as Shamirpet and later Serilingampally revenue officer. Officials reportedly found indications that around eight acres of government land in Abdullapurmet and Piglipuram areas had been registered in the names of other individuals.
Further findings reportedly suggest that the land was later transferred for real estate related activities. Investigators also stated that a well known realtor allegedly gifted ten plots through gift deed arrangements.
Authorities have registered a case related to alleged illegal assets and a detailed investigation is continuing. The developments have created widespread attention within revenue department circles, with more findings expected to emerge in the coming days.
