A tragic incident in Hyderabad has drawn attention after a lady software engineer was found dead in her apartment in Kondapur. The case has raised concerns about possible work related stress faced by professionals in the technology sector.
The deceased has been identified as Manushree aged thirty two who originally belonged to Karnataka. She was living in an apartment in the Masjid Banda area of Kondapur and was working as a software engineer.
According to initial reports Manushree did not respond to phone calls from her family members since the previous night. Worried about the situation her parents contacted one of her friends and asked her to check on her.
When the friend arrived at the apartment on Monday morning and opened the door she found Manushree hanging from the ceiling fan inside the room. The apartment security staff immediately informed the Gachibowli police.
Police officials reached the scene soon after receiving the information and brought the body down. The body was later shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem examination.
Family members reportedly told police that Manushree had been experiencing work related pressure in recent days. Based on the preliminary information investigators suspect that professional stress could have been a factor behind the incident.
A case has been registered and the Gachibowli police have begun a detailed investigation to examine both professional and personal circumstances related to the lady software engineer suicide.
