A violent incident in Hyderabad has shocked residents after a consultancy manager was killed in a knife attack following a dispute over a small amount of money. The incident occurred in the Madhura Nagar police station limits in the city.

According to police reports the attack took place at a consultancy office near pillar number 1482 where Varahi Consultancy operates. The office was run by a man identified as Shashikiran Reddy who worked as the manager.

The dispute reportedly began when a man named Prabhu Kumar approached the consultancy earlier seeking help in finding a job. As part of the process he had deposited two thousand rupees with the consultancy.

When the job opportunity did not materialize Prabhu Kumar demanded that his money be returned. The consultancy reportedly transferred fifteen hundred rupees back to him online and told him the remaining five hundred rupees would be returned later.

However the situation escalated when the accused insisted on receiving the remaining amount immediately. A heated argument broke out between the two sides inside the office.

During the confrontation Prabhu Kumar allegedly became aggressive and attacked Shashikiran Reddy and a trainer named Laya with a knife he had brought with him.

Shashikiran Reddy suffered serious injuries in the attack and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts he later died due to the severity of his injuries.

The trainer Laya who was also injured in the incident is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital.

Police have registered a case based on the complaint from the victims and launched a search operation to trace the accused. Investigators are examining the circumstances that led to the violent knife attack in Hyderabad.
