Wanaparthy RTC Depot Gets 32 New Buses as Services Expand

Public transport services in Wanaparthy are expanding as the RTC depot continues to receive new buses to improve connectivity across the region. Local MLA Thudi Megha Reddy said the depot has recorded steady growth in recent years and has now received a total of thirty two new buses.
On Thursday the MLA inaugurated four newly arrived buses at the Wanaparthy RTC depot by flagging them off. He said the addition of these vehicles will strengthen transport services and help improve travel facilities for people living in nearby towns and villages.
According to officials the depot has received a mix of different types of buses to meet passenger needs. The fleet includes fifteen Palle Velugu buses eleven Express buses two Deluxe buses and four electric buses. With these additions the depot now has thirty two new buses operating under its services.
MLA Megha Reddy said the government is committed to strengthening public transportation in rural areas. He assured that more buses will be introduced in the coming months so that RTC services can reach every village in the region.
He also pointed out that the financial performance of the Wanaparthy depot has improved significantly in the last two years. The monthly income of the depot has increased from around four lakh rupees earlier to nearly thirty five lakh rupees, reflecting better operations and growing passenger demand.
During the visit the MLA also held a review meeting with electricity department officials. Considering the summer season he instructed authorities to ensure uninterrupted power supply for farmers and residents so that they do not face difficulties during peak demand periods.
Officials said the expansion of the bus fleet and improved services will help strengthen transportation facilities in Wanaparthy and nearby areas while providing better connectivity for daily commuters.
