The Telangana Board Exam 2026 for Class 10 students will begin on March 14 and continue until April 16 across the state. Education authorities have completed all arrangements to conduct the examinations smoothly at thousands of centers.
More than 5.17 lakh students are expected to appear for the exams which will be held at 2676 examination centers across Telangana. Officials have instructed students to reach their examination centers well in advance to avoid last minute confusion.
Education department officials clarified that students arriving late will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. According to the rules entry will be closed after 9.35 in the morning and even a delay of five minutes will lead to denial of entry into the center.
Authorities have also implemented strict security measures to ensure transparency in the examination process. All exam centers have been declared no mobile phone zones and students are strictly prohibited from carrying mobile phones inside the premises.
The restrictions apply not only to students but also to inspection teams and flying squad members. Officials warned that any staff member violating the rule will face immediate suspension.
The government has also issued strong warnings against paper leaks or any malpractice during the examinations. Authorities said strict action will be taken including dismissal from service if anyone is found involved in such activities.
Students have been advised to bring only essential items such as their hall ticket pens pencils scale and required geometry instruments to the examination center. The education department has also instructed students not to attend the exam wearing school uniforms.
Officials suggested that students should visit their allotted examination centers at least one day before the exam to check the location and plan their travel arrangements.
Meanwhile the evaluation of answer sheets will begin from April 1 even as the examination process continues across the state. Authorities said the strict guidelines are aimed at ensuring a fair and smooth conduct of the Telangana Board Exam 2026.
