Telangana Becomes Global Guiding Model Says Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said Telangana is progressing as a model for development during his address at the Telangana Assembly as the state begins its budget session in Hyderabad.

The Telangana Assembly budget session began in Hyderabad with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla addressing the House and highlighting the state’s development journey. In his speech, the Governor said Telangana is steadily moving forward and emerging as an example of progress and governance.
Speaking in Telugu, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla stated that every citizen has contributed to the growth of Telangana. He emphasized that the government’s focus remains on public welfare and inclusive development.
According to the Governor, Telangana is advancing with a long term vision and moving toward the goal of Telangana Rising 2047. He said the state is gradually becoming a guiding model for others by focusing on balanced development and strong governance.
Before the start of the Assembly proceedings, a statue of Telangana Thalli was unveiled in the Assembly premises by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The statue has been installed near the Mahatma Gandhi statue within the Assembly complex.
The government has arranged the Telangana Thalli statue on the right side of the Gandhi statue. Earlier, a statue of Dr B R Ambedkar had been installed on the left side of the Gandhi statue in the Assembly premises.
After the Governor’s address, the Assembly session was adjourned until Tuesday. Following the adjournment, the Business Advisory Committee of the Assembly will meet under the leadership of Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar.
During this meeting, leaders will decide the agenda for the budget session and determine how many days the Assembly will function. Discussions on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address are expected to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The state budget is also expected to be presented during the ongoing Telangana Assembly budget session as part of the scheduled proceedings.
