The panel includes CV Anand, Prabhakar Apte and Soumya Mishra, all of whom are experienced officers with strong service records. The state government is now expected to review the names and take a final call on the appointment in the coming days.

This development comes as the current DGP, Shivdhar Reddy, is set to retire next month, making it necessary for the government to ensure a smooth transition in leadership within the police department.
