  • AP Class 10 English exam postponed due to Ramzan holiday change.
  • AP Class 10 English exam rescheduled to April 2 as per new update.
  • AP Class 10 English exam change does not affect other exams.

The Andhra Pradesh government has postponed the Class 10 English examination following a revision in the Ramzan holiday schedule. The decision comes after authorities shifted the official holiday to Saturday based on moon sighting updates and recommendations from the Waqf Board.

With Saturday now declared a public holiday across the state, including government offices and educational institutions, the education department has made necessary adjustments to the ongoing exam schedule. As a result, the English exam that was originally planned for that day will now be conducted later.

Officials have confirmed that the postponed exam will take place on April 2. Students and parents have been advised to note that this change applies only to the English paper, while all other examinations will continue as per the previously announced timetable.

The education department has also clarified that there will be no changes to hall tickets. Students can appear for the rescheduled exam using the same hall ticket issued earlier, avoiding any confusion during the process.

Authorities have instructed school officials to ensure that students are properly informed about the revised date to prevent any inconvenience. Measures are being taken to maintain smooth conduct at exam centers despite the last minute change.

The decision to shift the holiday was made in response to requests from the community and in line with traditional practices related to the festival. While the change has affected the exam schedule slightly, officials emphasized that the overall examination process will proceed without disruption.
